Jacob's Well

MISSION: To provide communities with a source for clean drinking water

The Jacob's Well Program helps the villages and communities of the Ivory Coast to have clean, drinkable water.  This is done through the collaboration of volunteers, engineers, community leaders, and donors. Support for this program includes services like engineering and education, resources like donated equipment, and financial donations.

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR STRUCTURAL ENGIEER VOLUNTEERS.

 

100% of every contribution goes to our mission.  All staff are unpaid volunteers.

WHEELCHAIRS4KIDZ

MISSION: To provide wheelchairs for children with disabilities

Wheelchairs4kidz provides wheelchairs for children with disabilities.  Chairs are obtained through individual wheelchair donations, manufacturer donations, and financial donations to purchase and transport chairs. House of Children Africa, Incorporated works with community leadership and local organizations to identify children in need.  Educators provide pamphlets and presentations to the community in an attempt to dispel the misperceptions and cultural myths surrounding disabled children.

The Village Project

Mission: To provide children with food, clothing, shelter and access to education

The Village Project works with local community leadership to identify villages and communities world-wide that are at risk.  Volunteers and sponsors choose a specific project, work together to provide what is needed , and identifies strategies to help the village or community become self-sustainable in that area.  Projects may include adopting a school, a child or a family.

CURRENTLY ASKING FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR CHILDREN OF THE JONES SCHOOL IN BALI.

100% of every contribution goes to our mission.  All staff are unpaid volunteers.
